This scrumptious recipe is perfect for making at home for the family or in a virtual cook-off with friends. Show off your cooking skills and flavour combos using Lee Kum Kee Chilli Garlic Sauce and Premium Oyster Sauce to accompany the mussels.
Remove the mussels from the shells and dice them. Mix mussels, shrimps and bell pepper with the marinade. Divide the fillings into 12 portions and stuff it back on the mussel shells.
Mix the basil with cheese and breadcrumbs. Sprinkle on top of the mussel fillings.
Bake at 220°C in a preheated oven for 15 minutes or until golden brown and done.
Tips
This recipe gives a light coating of breadcrumbs which is a nice balance, but if you prefer more crumbs, you can make simply more of the topping mixture.
