Official Terms and Conditions

1. Promoter

This event (“Taste Me If You Can - 2:1 Master Class”) is organised by Lee Kum Kee Europe Limited (“the Promoter”), registered in England and Wales with company number 0313224, having its registered office at 3rd Floor Paternoster House, 65 St Paul's Churchyard, London, EC4M 8AB. 

 

2. Eligibility, Entries & Content Rights

  1. This event recruitment is open to residents of the United Kingdom aged 18 years or over at the time of entry. This event recruitment opens at 00:00 GMT on 20th  May 2026. Application closes at 23:59 GMT on 19th June. Entries received after the closing date will not be accepted.
  2. As the event experience, presentations and group discussions will primarily be conducted in English, participants should have a comfortable understanding of spoken English.
  3. Employees of the Promoter, its affiliates, agencies, distributors, or their immediate family members are not eligible to enter.
  4. One entry per person. Multiple, bulk, automated, or third-party entries will be disqualified.
  5. To enter, participants must complete the official online survey form on the campaign microsite, including a 6–8 minute survey containing 11 behavioural and motivation-based questions.
  6. All submissions must be the participant’s own original work and must not infringe the intellectual property, privacy or other rights of any third party. 
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to reject entries containing unlawful, offensive, defamatory or inappropriate content, or content deemed inconsistent with the campaign. 
  8. By submitting an entry, participants grant Lee Kum Kee Europe a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to use, reproduce, adapt and share submitted content for marketing, publicity and PR purposes across all media channels for up to three (3) years from the campaign closing date. 
  9. Personal data will be processed in accordance with UK GDPR and the Promoter’s Privacy Policy solely for the administration of this recruitment and related event activities. 
  10. Participants may withdraw consent for future promotional use of their content by contacting the Promoter in writing. This will not affect any prior use already undertaken in good faith. 
  11. By entering, participants confirm that they have read, understood and accepted these Terms and Conditions in full.

 

3. Judging and Participant Selection

  1. All valid entries received by the closing date will be reviewed by a judging panel appointed by the Promoter.
  2. Entries will be evaluated based on responses to a 6–8 minute survey comprising 11 behavioural and motivation-based questions designed to assess participants’ interest, engagement and connection with Asian food culture.
  3. Entries will be independently reviewed by at least two judges. The judges’ decision is final, binding and no correspondence or appeals will be entered into. 
  4. The judging panel will select up to thirty participants to attend the event. 
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to reject incomplete, invalid or unsuitable entries and to select alternative participants where necessary. Event details, including the venue, event schedule and attendance information, will only be shared with shortlisted participants within their selection notification.
  6. By accepting participation in the event, participants grant the Promoter and its appointed partners the right to use, reproduce, publish and distribute photographs, video footage, recordings, testimonials and likenesses captured during the event across digital, social media, marketing and promotional channels without additional compensation.
  7. Selected participants will be notified via the email address provided within 10 working days of the recruitment closing date. If a selected participant cannot be contacted or does not respond within 5 days, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative participant. 
  8. Selected participants may be invited to take part in reasonable publicity relating to the event, including photography, video content or testimonials. Participants acknowledge that photography, filming and audio recording may take place throughout the event experience and may appear in promotional materials, social media content, recap videos, press materials and other marketing communications relating to the Promoter and its brands. Where required, additional consent may be requested for specific publicity activities.

 

4. Limitations

  1. Participant selection will be based on the submitted survey responses and assessed in line with: 
    • the spirit and objectives of the campaign; 
    • feasibility, safety and availability considerations; and 
    • Lee Kum Kee brand and compliance standards. 
  1. The Promoter reserves the right to amend, substitute or withdraw participant selection where necessary for practical, safety or operational reasons. 
  2. Participation is non-transferable, non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any alternative. 
  3. The Promoter will cover reasonable costs directly associated with the event. Any additional personal expenses, including travel, accommodation, meals or incidentals, will be the responsibility of the participant unless otherwise stated. 
  4. The Promoter accepts no responsibility for delays, changes or cancellations caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, including but not limited to strikes, pandemics or supply chain disruptions. 
  5. The Promoter reserves the right to refuse entry to or remove any participant whose behaviour is deemed unsafe, disruptive, offensive or inappropriate, or who fails to comply with venue rules, health and safety requirements, or reasonable instructions from event staff.
  6. Participants may be required to provide identification, consent forms or other information reasonably necessary for event administration. 
  7. The Promoter reserves the right to withdraw participation if false information has been provided or these Terms and Conditions have been breached. 
  8. Participation must be confirmed within 5 days of notification unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Promoter.

 

5. General Conditions

1. The Promoter reserves the right to cancel, amend, or suspend the promotion if circumstances beyond its reasonable control make this unavoidable, but will use reasonable endeavours to minimise the effect on participants.

2. The Promoter’s decision regarding any aspect of this promotion is final. No correspondence will be entered into regarding the outcome.

3. The Promoter does not accept responsibility for:

  • Food served during the event may contain allergens, including but not limited to, soy, sesame, gluten, shellfish, nuts and alcohol. Participants are responsible for informing the Promoter of any allergies or dietary requirements prior to attendance.
  • Entries lost, delayed, misdirected, corrupted, or not received due to technical issues; or
  • Any loss, damage, or injury suffered by participants or third parties arising from participation, except where caused by the Promoter’s negligence or wilful misconduct.

4. Nothing in these Terms shall limit the Promoter’s liability for death or personal injury arising from negligence, or for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

5. If any provision of these Terms is deemed invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions shall remain in full force and effect.

6. These Terms and Conditions are governed by English law, and any disputes arising out of or in connection with them shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
