Create your own deliciously golden and crunchy prawn toast. This dish is best prepared and served with Lee Kum Kee Seasoned Soy Sauce for Seafood as a dipping sauce. This is the type of snack or side that's extremely hard for anyone to turn down.
Mix dipping sauce ingredients together in a small bowl. Set aside. Add prawn paste mix ingredients to a blender and blitz until smooth.
Pour sesame seeds into a wide bowl.
Drizzle oil over baguette slices then coat one side with the prawn paste (about 1 ½ tbsp per slice), then dunk in sesame seeds until evenly coated.
Preheat the air fryer to 370°C. Place 4-5 sesame prawn toasts, prawn side up, in the air fryer tray and air fry for 5-7 minutes, until golden on top and cooked through. Repeat in batches with remaining sesame prawn toasts.
Serve sesame prawn toasts hot with the dipping sauce.
Tips
You can use any leftover bread, sliced to your desired size and shape.
You may need to take a blade out of the air fryer to stop the prawn toasts from moving.
