This recipe is ideal if you're having guests over as it serves up to 10! There is minimal prep required, just allow enough time for your meat to absorb our seasoning mix with Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce - the longer the better.

Ingredients

5 lb pork butt (shoulder cut) with bone (or 31/2 lb. pork butt without bone)

Seasoning

2 Tbsp  black pepper, freshly ground
2 Tbsp smoked paprika
1 Tbsp  garlic powder
1 Tbsp  onion powder

Method

1 Place pork on a large plate. Brush oyster sauce over all sides.
2 In a small bowl combine paprika, garlic powder, onion powder, and black pepper. Stir to combine.
3 Sprinkle and rub the spice mixture evenly over all sides of the pork.
4 Cover and refrigerator for at least 3 hours or overnight.
5 To cook, place pork in a slow cooker and set it low. Cook until the pork is tender, about 9 hours.
6 Pour off juices into a small bowl, and strain out any visible fat. Pour juices back into the slow cooker and using two forks pull the pork apart. Ready to serve.

Tips

1 The longer you have to marinate the pork, the better! Leave overnight if you have the time.
