Stir-fried Beef in Chinese Five-Spice Sauce (Chu Hou

Ingredients

300g Beef fillet/tenderloin, sliced into thin strips
½ Green Bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
½ Red Bell pepper, sliced into thin strips
½ Onion, sliced into thin strips
2 cloves Garlic, finely chopped
2 Tbsp Vegetable oil

Sauce Mix

6 Tbsp Water
1 tsp Sugar
1 tsp Corn starch

Method

1 Heat the pan with medium heat, sauté the garlic and onion in oil until fragrant. Then add beef and stir-fry until medium done.
2 Add green, red bell pepper and sauce mix.
3 Stir-fry over medium high heat until heated through, ready to serve.
