Spicy Butter Garlic Prawns

This prawn dish is great served as a starter, equally it can be served as a main dish with noodles or rice. The dish is so easy to make and the sauce is really tasty when you use the Lee Kum Kee sauce combination we have detailed below.

Ingredients

½ onion, peeled and diced
300g  prawns, shelled
2 Tbsp  oil
30g  butter
1 spring onion, diced

Sauce Mix

80ml water
1 tsp sugar
½ tsp corn flour

Method

1 Heat oil in pan or wok, add the onions then the prawns, stir-fry until the prawns turn slightly orange.
2 Add the sauce mix, reduce to medium heat and combine until the prawns are cooked.
3 Add the butter, mix until it melts into a thick sauce.
4 Remove the pan from the heat, add the diced onions to serve.
