Seafood Tofu Soup

Nourishing Chinese-style soup with silken tofu and mixed seafood in savory broth. Healthy, protein-rich comfort food ready in 30 minutes.

Ingredients

50g prawns, peeled and deveined
100g crab, white meat
50g peas
1 box silken tofu, diced to 2cm cube
1.5 lt water
2 egg, white, lightly beaten
3 Tbsp corn starch + 10 Tbsp water
1 Spring onions, diced fine
A pinch of white pepper

Method

1 In a deep saucepan or pot, add water, mushroom Powder, tofu and bring to a boil.
2 Add prawns, crab meat and peas.
3 Add corn starch-water mixture to soup and stir till thickened.
4 Stir egg white into soup and mix completely, bring to simmer and remove from heat
5 Finish with sesame oil and white pepper.
6 Garnish with spring onions. Serve hot.
