Chinese Five-Spice Style (Chu Hou) BBQ Pork Ribs

Ingredients

700g  Baby pork ribs
1L Water or just enough water to cover

Marinade

Method

1 Place ribs in a saucepan, top with water and add Lee Kum Kee Chu Hou Paste. Bring to boil, then simmer for 30 minutes on a medium to low heat. Remove the ribs and place into a heat tolerant container.
2 Pour over the marinade and leave to cool. For best results, keep the marinated ribs in the fridge overnight.
3 To cook the ribs, preheat the oven to 160°C /140°C fan. Place ribs in a roasting pan and keep the marinade sauce.
4 Roast the ribs 30 to 45 mins, basting with the marinade sauce every 10 minutes.
5 Heat the remaining marinade in a small saucepan to a simmer, remove the ribs when done and pour over the marinade to coat the ribs.
