Chicken/Beef Meatballs with Hoisin Dipping Sauce

1 Tbsp vegetable oil
200g minced chicken/beef
100g onion, finely chopped
20g breadcrumbs
1 tsp freshly grated ginger
oil for frying



1 Heat the oil in a small pan, add the onion and cook over a medium heat until just softened. Cool a little, then add the minced chicken with the Lee Kum Kee Hoisin Sauce , breadcrumbs and ginger. Mix well, then shape into balls and set aside.
2 Heat enough oil to deep-fry and when hot, carefully lower chicken balls into the oil and cook until golden and crisp.
3 Mix together the dipping sauce and serve with the meatballs.
