Beef is one of the best protein rich foods you can eat. Protein is imporant for your body as it is a macronutrient, which means your body needs lots of it to function properly. It's great for keeping hair, nails, skin, bones, cartilage and your blood healthy and strong. Protein rich foods are particularly important if you are trying to build muscle mass and it helps with repairing tissues.

Beef is also a good source of Iron, which helps our red blood cells deliver oxygen to our cells. Just one serving of beef can contain around 15% of our recommended daily intake of iron. It's also said that iron in red meat is more easily absorbed by the body than most other sources of iron.

As well as protein and iron, beef is rich with other nutrients that our bodies require, such as carnosine, creatine, B-vitamins, selenium and zinc. You can even opt for a grass-fed beef for a higher dose of Omega-3s, CLAs and Vitamins E & A.

Broccoli is a superfood rich in vitamin A, C, E and K, antioxidants, and folic acid. It's a great source of fibre, which has been found to reduce the risk of certain health issues, such as cancers, coronary heart disease, and obesity.
