Beijing Noodles

Our Beijing Noodles recipe uses just a few simple ingredients to create a tasty dish, perfect as a weekday meal to fill you up after a long day.

Ingredients

1½ Tbsp vegetable oil
4 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
1 white part of large spring onion, finely chopped
340g minced pork
75g carrots, cut into thin strips
75g cucumbers, cut into thin strips
75g bean sprouts, blanched
200g cooked noodles

Method

1 Heat the oil in the wok over medium heat, add ginger, garlic and spring onion and stir-fry for 1 minute.
2 Add the minced pork to the wok, break it up with a spatula and cook over a high heat for 3 minutes. Add the sauce mix, carrots and cucumber and cook for a further 3 minutes or until the meat is cooked thoroughly.
3 Re-heat the noodles with boiling water, drain and put into a serving dish. Put the minced pork and blanched bean sprouts on top of the noodles.
4 Mix well before eating.
