Lee Kum Kee Mushroom Vegetarian Stir-Fry Sauce

Our Mushroom Vegetarian Stir Fry Sauce has been specially created for vegetarians and vegans. It was designed to be used be used as an alternative to oyster sauce, so you can now acheive a similar texture and appearance in your dishes to what oyster sauce does. Although we make this with shiitake mushrooms, the mushroom flavour isn't too strong, so it works well with a wide range of Chinese dishes, and can also be used as a dipping sauce.

This vegetarian stir fry sauce is perfect for using as a marinade, stir-frying, stewing, and also for using in gravy or sauce mixes. It can be used in many cases as an alternative to oyster sauce, that even includes as a dipping sauce.

  • Add 1 Tbsp of sauce as a seasoning during cooking for every 100-200g of ingredient.
  • Taste your food as you go! If you prefer a strong flavour, gradually add more sauce to build up to your desired taste.
