Spicy Hot Beef Wok with Chilli Oil and Fresh Salad

Ingredients

2 minute steaks
1 Tbsp  sunflower oil
1 thumb-sized ginger, grated
1 tsp  dried chilli peppers
1 tsp  corn starch
3 tsp  water
little gem lettuce, sliced
2 Tbsp  peanuts, roasted

Marinade

Sauce Mix

60ml  chicken broth
2 Tbsp  brown sugar

Method

1 Cut the steak into thin slices. Combine with the marinade and leave to marinate for 20 minutes.
2 Heat the oil in the wok. Fry the beef until golden and crisp for no more than 30 seconds. Drain the steak on kitchen towel.
3 Reduce the heat . Fry the ginger and dried chilli peppers. Add the sauce mix and bring to boil for about 1 minute.
4 Mix the corn starch with water, add this mixture to the sauce and let it cook until it thickens. Divide the lettuce over the plates and add the meat slices. Sprinkle with peanuts and serve with rice.
