Crispy Chilli Beef

Serves 2


400g beef sirloin steak
white sesame seeds for garnishing
2 Tbsp oil
corn starch for coating

Sauce Mix

1 Tbsp  cooking wine
2 Tbsp  sugar
2 Tbsp  Lee Kum Kee Seasoned Rice Vinegar
5 Tbsp  Water
1 Tbsp  corn starch


1 Cut the steak into thin strips and marinate them with Lee Kum Kee Premium Oyster Sauce for 15-20 minutes.
2 Coat the strips with starch before shallow-frying with oil over medium high heat. Take the beef out when the colour has changed, set aside.
3 Add the sauce mix in the pan and cook it for 5 minutes or until the sauce is thicken. Put the beef strips in and make sure the sauce is evenly coated on. Sprinkle some white sesame seeds before serving.


1 Chill the beef in the fridge to make it easy to slice.
