Braised Chicken with Spring Onion in Oyster Sauce

This Braised Chicken with Spring Onion in our Premium Lee Kum Kee Oyster Sauce is great served with jasmine rice. This simple, easy to cook stir fry dish is ready to be served up in less than 15 minutes, making it the ideal midweek meal choice for those pressed for time.

Ingredients

450g chicken thigh or breast, cut into bite-size pieces
1 Tbsp oil
3 spring onions, sectioned
2 Tbsp water

Method

1 Marinate the chicken for an hour or ideally overnight.
2 Heat the oil in a saucepan or wok over high heat. Add the spring onions and sauté for a minute, then add the chicken with the sauce, and stir-fry for a further 2 minutes.
3 Add the water, reduce to medium heat and cook until the chicken is cooked through. The sauce should also thicken too.
4 Serve immediately with jasmine rice.

Tips

1 Ideally, leave the chicken to marinate overnight for extra flavour.
